‘Signature’ is a short, animated project that explores personal mark and movement, thought and action.

This project translates language into physical action, creating a fluid form of handwriting.  A series of simple movements are choreographed to reflect the letters within my name; those movements are then broken down into static poses and painted in loose ink silhouettes.  The action of their painting is recorded and then woven into the animation. 

I am interested in ideas of personal mark making and the identity embedded within the act of ‘making.’
